The Community Table is a 10-foot-long solid ash wood table designed and built for the residents of Indwell’s Lakeshore Lofts—a supportive housing community in Ontario. Created as a central gathering piece, the table is meant to foster connection, shared meals, and a sense of belonging.

Designed and fabricated in collaboration with Danial Mercier and Ian Bawtinheimer, the table was thoughtfully developed with accessibility in mind—accommodating users with diverse mobility needs through clear knee space, comfortable height, and generous proportions that support a variety of seating arrangements.

The project emphasizes craftsmanship, material integrity, and durability to serve the long-term needs of a communal living space.
